A mouth-watering, first to market new variant for the Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Clusters range, combining delicious oats and wheat crisps, baked to crunchy perfection with added chunks of peanuts. The cereal used peanut butter as the binding ingredient – a first for any Kellogg’s cereal.
Launched in 2017, the product helped retailers attract an age-defying demographic of taste-seeking shoppers by taking advantage of two key movements in the UK market; taste-seeking shoppers who hunt for a varied, ingredient-focused breakfast, and the peanut butter flavour trend, an ingredient which had seen a +15% volume growth over the previous four years.
